Ambassador Chai Xi paid a visit to the Parliamentary Secretary for Finance of Malta

On May 17, Ambassador Chai Xi paid a visit to Mt. Tonio Fenech, the Parliamentary Secretary for Finance of Malta. Ambassador Chai reviewed the development of cooperation in every field between China and Malta, and hoped that both sides should make further efforts to enhance the bilateral relations by deepening and widening the cooperation. Mr. Fenech appreciated Chai’s view and delivered thanks to Chinese government for its economic assistance. He also particularly mentioned the furniture provided by Chinese government, and call Malta Embassy building in EU as Chinese styled home for MMaltese diplomats. Fenech also mentioned, with the efforts by the Ministry of Finance, the chairman of Malta stock exchange paid a successful visit to Shanghai Stock exchange last year, X-ray scanner for containers will be imported from Nuctech, as well as the forthcoming setup of Chinese Medicine Department in the new hospital. Both sides also exchanged views on how to promote the bilateral tourism.
